iOS gamers receive sad news from Epic Games (part 1)
Due to disputes between Apple and Epic Games, iPhone, iPad and Mac users will not be able to experience the next season of Fortnite.
Epic Games has officially confirmed that it will not release the next season of the Fortnite game for iOS and macOS platforms. The main reason is that Apple has removed this game from the App Store.
According to Epic, Apple has blocked the latest Fortnite updates on the App Store. At the same time, Apple also threatened to terminate this game for Apple devices. Therefore, the latest update will not be released for iOS and macOS on August 27.
Recently, a federal judge in California (USA) passed a temporary restraining order against Apple. Accordingly, Apple will not be able to revoke the developer account of Epic Games. However, Apple can still currently ban the Fortnite game from the App Store due to violation of the general rules on the platform.

The next hearing between Apple and Epic Games will take place on September 28. Everything started on August 14, after Epic Games released the Fortnite upgrade on Android and iOS platforms. This update allows users to pay Epic Games directly for purchases in Fortnite, instead of using the Apple and Google payment systems as before.
Immediately, the two giants Apple and Google have responded, when removing this game from both leading app stores in the smartphone world.
Epic Games, for its part, also filed lawsuits against both Apple and Google, allegedly violating antitrust laws. Epic Games argued that the app payment restrictions for iOS and Android are proprietary behavior and are against the law in the state of California.
